Sa Lilim ng Ani

Who are behind...

Sa Lilim ng Ani?

We are a team of student artists, filmmakers, researchers and advocates who believe that the fight for land is also a fight for justice, history, and the future. United by a shared goal, we created Sa Lilim ng Ani. A campaign shaped by months of research, interviews, fieldwork, and conversations with those in the farming community whose stories are too often overlooked.

“Sa Lilim ng Ani” is more than a project, it is our way of standing with the farmers of Lupang Ramos by amplifying their stories, struggles, and hopes through creative media and youth-led advocacy. Through this platform, we aim to bridge the gap between rural realities and youth awareness, one video, article, and act of solidarity at a time.

What we do

In the making of Sa Lilim ng Ani, we’ve used a wide range of skills in order to fully represent what this campaign has to offer. We’ve written articles and infographics. Articles that tells the history behind Lupang Ramos, articles that sheds light on the issues regarding agriculture, articles that shows how the youth could give their support, and articles that shows the people behind different organizations related to this topic.

We’ve filmed documentaries, revealing the true experiences and struggles of the farmers in Lupang Ramos in a 5 episode series, wherein the viewer could attain the different layers and layers of stories and histories of the farmers and their supporters and different issues that the agriculture segment is facing.

We’ve showcased advocacies, providing the viewer a multitude of ways to give their support in different topics related to this campaign.

Then finally, we’ve made a website showcasing each and every work and story, from articles to documentaries and to featured advocacies of other organizations. We created a project, a campaign, in order to share to others our beliefs and how important it is to fight for these beliefs.
